Welcome to the Town of Scio NY web page.  Scio is located in south central Allegany County in the beautiful southerntier of Western New York.  We are four miles north of Wellsville, the largest community in the county and home of SUNY Alfred Vocational College as well as many places to shop and work.  Additionally we are about 12 miles west of Alfred, NY, home to Alfred University and SUNY Alfred College of Technology.
